Siraha – A protest was held in Siraha against violence targeting the Hindu community in Bangladesh, following the brutal beating and killing of Hindu devotee Dipuchandra Das and the inhumane treatment of his body after death.
Members of the Hindu community in Siraha took to the streets to protest against the ongoing violence against religious minorities in Bangladesh. During the demonstration, protesters burned tires in front of the Ganapati Petrol Pump at Choharwa along the East–West Highway, completely blocking the highway for some time.
The protesters demanded strict punishment for those responsible and urged authorities to take the issue seriously. They also called for the safety and protection of the minority Hindu community in Bangladesh.
The demonstrators appealed to the international community and concerned authorities to pay immediate attention to the incident and take necessary action.
